ABOUT THE CONTEST
The annual Southern Exposures Youth Photo Contest is an opportunity for children to share their best pictures of the Rio Grande Valley and may even win a cash prize.
Some researchers suggest that children seem to be exposed less and less to the open invitations of nature. Today’s children are on tight schedules, with child care, school, and extracurricular activities.
To inspire our current generation of kids to take a stronger interest in Mother Nature, the Valley Land Fund has made its annual Southern Exposures youth nature photo program a priority.
The contest is open to kids between the ages 5 to 18-year-old and its FREE!
